Archiving Policy
INSTINK: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan, Teknologi Informasi & Komputer is committed to the permanent availability and long-term preservation of all published content. The following arrangements ensure that articles remain accessible even if the journal ceases publication or the journal website becomes unavailable.
1. PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
INSTINK uses the PKP Preservation Network, a LOCKSS-based digital preservation service provided by the Public Knowledge Project. Each published issue, including article metadata and full-text files, is automatically deposited and stored in multiple geographically distributed archival nodes. If the journal becomes unavailable, the preserved content will be made openly accessible through the network.
2. Additional Archiving and Discovery Services
- Crossref: every article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) with the prefix 10.30599, which provides a persistent link to the article.
- Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital) and Indonesia OneSearch: national services that harvest and index the journal's metadata with links to the full texts.
3. Self-Archiving by Authors
Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit the submitted version, the accepted manuscript, and the published version (PDF) of their article in institutional repositories, personal websites, or subject repositories at any time, provided that the original publication in INSTINK is acknowledged with a full citation and a link to the article's DOI.
4. Integrity of the Published Record
Once published, an article is part of the permanent scholarly record and will not be removed or altered. Any correction, retraction, or expression of concern is handled according to the journal's Article Correction and Retraction Policy, and the original version remains archived.
