Archiving Policy

ARCHIVING POLICY

Jurnal Indonesia Mengabdi is committed to the permanent availability and long-term preservation of all published content. The following arrangements ensure that articles remain accessible even if the journal ceases publication or the journal website becomes unavailable.

 

1. Digital Preservation Network (PKP PN / LOCKSS) Jurnal Indonesia Mengabdi utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a LOCKSS-based digital preservation service provided by the Public Knowledge Project. Each published issue, including article metadata and full-text files, is automatically deposited and stored in multiple geographically distributed archival nodes. If the journal website becomes unavailable, the preserved content will be made openly accessible through this network.

 

2. Additional Archiving and Discovery Services

  • Crossref: Every article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to ensure a persistent and stable link for continuous citation.

  • Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital) & Indonesia OneSearch: National indexing and repository services that harvest and index the journal's metadata along with links to full-text articles.

3. Self-Archiving by Authors Articles in Jurnal Indonesia Mengabdi are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit the submitted version, accepted manuscript, or published version (PDF) in institutional repositories, subject repositories, or personal websites at any time, provided that full citation and the article's DOI link to the original publication in Jurnal Indonesia Mengabdi are acknowledged.

4. Integrity of the Published Record Once published, an article becomes part of the permanent scholarly record and cannot be removed or altered without reason. Any corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern will be handled in accordance with the journal's Article Correction and Retraction Policy, and the original version will remain preserved in the archive.
