Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen the social and moral values of the congregation through Friday sermons at Miftahul Huda Mosque, Sukaraja. The method employed is a participatory approach, involving both the congregation and mosque administrators actively in identifying needs, preparing materials, implementation, and evaluation. The sermon materials were thematically designed by integrating the Qur’an, Hadith, and the social realities of the congregation. The results indicate an increase in congregation participation, the growth of social and moral awareness, and concrete initiatives such as mutual assistance, social donations, and active involvement in mosque activities. Furthermore, reciprocal communication between preachers and congregants has reinforced the role of sermons as a medium of participatory da’wah. Thus, Friday sermons are proven to serve not only as religious rituals but also as strategic instruments in fostering religious, social, and moral awareness within the community..
