Training on Developing Islamic Digital Da'wah Media for the Congregation of Al-Barokah Mosque, Pisang Baru Village, Way Kanan, 2023

Abstract

The background of this training is the rapid development of digital technology which has not been balanced with the ability of mosque congregations to utilize it for da'wah. The congregation of Al-Barokah Mosque in Pisang Baru Village, Way Kanan has great potential as da'wah agents but still faces obstacles in mastering digital media. The purpose of this community service is to empower the congregation through training in creating creative and Islamic digital da'wah content. Implementation methods include interactive lectures, practical workshops, and intensive mentoring in creating video content, digital posters, and da'wah articles. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' abilities, where 90% of participants who previously had no experience were now able to produce simple da'wah content. The products produced include 15 da'wah videos, 20 digital posters, and 10 da'wah articles. This training successfully empowered the congregation as digital da'i and recommended the formation of a sustainable da'wah media team and collaboration with creative digital communities.
