Abstract

Zakat management in many Indonesian mosques is still conducted manually, making it prone to recording errors, lack of transparency, and inefficiency. Subulussalam Mosque is one such institution facing similar challenges in managing zakat fitrah and zakat maal. This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to assist mosque administrators in implementing an ICT-based zakat management system. The implementation method includes needs assessment, development of a web-based zakat information system, training on system usage, and monitoring and evaluation of its application. The results of the program show that the developed system significantly improves the accuracy of data recording, efficiency in zakat distribution, and transparency in financial reporting. Mosque administrators demonstrated increased digital literacy and began adopting the system independently. Challenges encountered included limited access to devices and low technological literacy, which were addressed through phased training and simplified system interfaces. This program confirms that digitalizing zakat management at the mosque level enhances accountability and public trust, and opens opportunities for replication in other mosques using a contextual approach.
