Assistance in Developing a Digital Friday Sermon Calendar for Miqotussalam Mosque, Tanjung Agung Village

Abstract

Scheduling Friday sermons in mosques is one of the important aspects in the governance of religious activities. However, many mosques still use a manual system in preparing sermon schedules so that they are prone to errors, delays, and irregularities. This community service activity aims to assist the management of the Miqotussalam Mosque in Tanjung Agung Village in compiling a digital-based Friday sermon calendar. The methods used include initial observation, interviews, training, and implementation of digital calendar applications that are integrated with smartphone and computer devices. The results of the activity show that the preparation of a digital sermon calendar is able to improve the regularity of schedules, facilitate coordination between administrators, and increase information transparency to the congregation. With a digital calendar, administrators can update their sermon schedules quickly, practically, and well documented.
